Vishal Bharadwaj’s movie, Rangoon has turned out to be a flop. The movie starred Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles. It was a romantic period war drama which has bombed at the box office and has collected merely 1.50 crores in its 2nd week and now stands with the grand total of 23 crores at the domestic market.

The film follows the footsteps of Bombay Velvet, which was also considered as the biggest office failures in the recent times.

Shahid Kapoor will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period romantic drama Padmavati along with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie will be Hansal Mehta’s Simran. Saif Ali Khan will star in the official remake of Chef, directed by Raja Krishna Menon, who previously gave us the Akshay Kumar-Nimrat Kaur starrer Airlift.

The movie was directed by Sankalp Reddy and has managed to collect around 2.75 crores in its 3rd week bringing the grand total to 20.50 crores in its Hindi version.

Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni featured in The Ghazi Attack and the movie was based on the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi during Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
